Welcome to my Halen's Vale D&D campaign website. This site is intended to be a resource for players in my Halen's Vale campaign. This campaign focuses on the adventure and intrigue surrounding the exploration of an ancient and expansive set of ruins recently discovered near the small mountain town of Halen's Vale. Added the house rules concerning ancient, dead languages to the House Rules section of the website. Look in the Skills section.

Added a new House Rule to the House Rules section. It is the new description for knowledge skills that can be found in the D20 3.5 SRD. While the knowledge skill hasn't really been changed, there is a lot more guidance as to which knowledge skills cover which topics and what an appropriate DC is for a knowledge check. Now there are also synergy bonuses for having 5+ ranks in various knowledge skills. The full description of the "new" knowledge skill can be found here.

Added the first hand out, from the first adventure, to the files section in Links & Files. I also added a link to the new 3.5 D&D revision SRD, to the links list.

• As you can probably see I gave the website a little facelift. In the process I may have screwed up some links here or there. I tried to check them all but I would be surprised if a didn't miss at least one. If you find a broken link be sure to let me know. There is no new actual content since the last update.
   

• Our URL has also changed to http://www.slobfest.org/~cataclysm. This is a reflection of the fact some of us Slobfesters now have our own domain name on the Clan[Apoc] web server.  Woo Hoo! Be sure to update your favorites lists.
   

• The link to a set of DnD message boards is also active now and we should have a topic devoted to this campaign running there soon! Be sure to post and say hello when you see the Halen's Vale topic.

I went through the many of the pages and tried to correct typos and clarify certain things. None of the changes were major. If you find more typos or confusing passages send me an email with the page and the mistakes/confusing text and I will try and correct them ASAP.

I also added a new file in the links & files section. It is a word document that contains all of the known changes for the upcoming DnD 3.5 revision.

Well I finally got the campaign website up! I hope to have message boards installed soon and plan to update the site as the campaign progresses. It is my first real website ever so if there are any comments or criticisms, especially about the organization of the site, I would be glad to hear them. Anyway have a look around and enjoy.
